About the Position

As we expand our network to new international locations, we are seeking an Operations Project Manager to lead the end-to-end establishment of new transmission and reception sites (antennas, RF shelters, and related infrastructure) worldwide. This is a hands-on, senior operations role reporting to the VP of Operations, responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex site deployment projects in the telecommunications domain.

This position is strictly for candidates with deep, hands-on experience in telecom site/infrastructure buildouts abroad.

Responsibilities

  • Full lifecycle management of international projects for establishing Raft’s communication sites (HF antennas, RF shelters, transmission/receiving stations) in new global locations.
  • Planning, coordinating, and monitoring all project phases: schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and scope.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams (engineering, network, finance, IT) and external partners (telecom vendors, contractors, local authorities).
  • Drafting technical and business requirements, preparing detailed specification documents, and managing project deliverables.
  • Leading all on-site activities: site surveys, equipment installation (antennas, RF, routers, switches), integration, and commissioning.
  • Implementing and optimizing operational processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and compliance with Raft’s standards.
  • Managing international suppliers and contractors, including negotiation, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Regular reporting to the VP of Operations on project status, challenges, and solutions.
  • Working in a dynamic, global environment with flexibility for varied hours and frequent international travel

Requirements

    • Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing operational projects for the deployment of telecom infrastructure abroad-specifically, hands-on site buildouts involving antennas, RF equipment, shelters, and related communication hardware.
    • Deep expertise in telecommunications infrastructure: HF/VHF/UHF antennas, RF systems, transmission/receiving equipment, routers, switches, communication shelters, and wireless network deployment.
    • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects in international environments, including direct oversight of vendors, contractors, and local teams.
    • Strong track record in planning, managing, and monitoring budgets, schedules, and resources for physical site deployments.
    • Full professional proficiency in Hebrew and English (written and verbal)-mandatory.
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and cross-functional communication skills.
    • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required by projects.
    • Foreign passport-advantage.

    Success Traits

    • Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-oriented, with strong real-time problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
    • Strategic and business-oriented mindset with a proven ability to execute and deliver in complex, fast-paced environments.

If you have a proven record of managing international telecom infrastructure buildouts-especially antenna and RF site deployments-and are ready to help Raft expand the world’s fastest network, we want to hear from you.
